**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Requires 2 years of automotive production shift supervision
- Scheduling of shift - coordinating machines and manpower to meet the daily production schedule outlined in the MRP system.
- Assist in mentoring and training production employees in all aspects of press operation (ie. Troubleshooting, set up reduction, production efficiency).
- Manage shift to stay within all established budgets (ie Non-productive labour hours) and efficiencies.
- Participate in the recruiting, discipline, training and Supervising of production personnel.
- Plant lock-up / open (as position is swing shift position)
- Active participation on committees (i.e. C.A.R, C.I, JHSC etc)
- Coordination of training for all production employees (equipment, QA systems requirements, Health and Safety requirements), and maintaining of training records and matrix adherence.
- Q.A. Representative for “C”shift (when applicable)
- ensure procedures are followed (Q.A. decision making)
- Coordinate tool room personnel on “C” shift
- Daily communication meetings with all production personnel
- Ensure/Enforce Housekeeping and 5S
- Ensure proper use of equipment and safe work practices (active participant in JHSC)
- Time card validation and approval
- Develop and maintain positive effective culture.
- Administering the collective agreement per it’s content

Initial Qualifications for Hire:

- Grade 12 education (Post.Sec. an asset)
- 5 years supervising
- 5 years metal manufacturing
- Metal stamping/Progressive tooling an asset
- Self Motivator
- Leader
- Computer literate

Good communication skills
- Must be vaccinated against Covid-19

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
