**Overview**
**Supervisor Job Description**
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
- Plan and organize production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing waste. Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet deadlines.
- Provide direction to different departments in the shop.
- Oversee and coach employees.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
- Check production output according to specifications.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
**Qualifications**
- 10+ years’ experience working in a metal manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Production Supervisor or similar position is preferred.
- Experience with various types of manufacturing tools and equipment.
- Experience with metal cutting, forming, welding, finishing, inspection and powder coating is an asset.
- Good practical experience with MS Office, Excel Office, and ERP software programs.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills٫ together with a results-driven approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution attributes.
- High School Diploma; additional degree in the manufacturing field is an asset.
- Must be physically fit, able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $56,069.61-$88,950.19 per year
**Experience**:
