We are currently seeking a **Core Facility Supervisor** to join our team. This is a full time permanent role at our Atlantic Operations Touquoy mine in Moose River Gold Mines. This opportunity is offered on a Monday to Friday, 8 hour schedule. Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist your role will be to supervisor and assist the team of Core Facility Technicians whole promoting a safety focused work environment by ensuring all team members are utilizing correct PPR and reporting all safety concerns.

**The Opportunity**:

- Preparation of sample sheets for sampling core.
- Provide production information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analysing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
- Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
- Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Keeping inventory of all stock and equipment and replenishes when required
- Creating Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, approving, receiving of goods and materials.
- Creating and Updating Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Work Procedures when required
- Communicating with external labs for shipping and receiving of goods and materials.
- Scheduling shipping and receiving times with Contractors, Vendors, and crew
- Ensuring operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Maintaining safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Completing production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Maintaining staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
- All other duties assigned by the company

- Valid Drivers License.
