As a Sales and Account Manager, you’ll play a vital role in managing client relationships, exploring new business opportunities, and supporting the Business Development Manager. If you’re a proactive self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills, this position is for you
**What You’ll Do**:
- Manage communication with clients in your portfolio, providing updates on pricing, packages, and product changes.
- Research the waste management market to identify how CWL can best serve its segments, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Respond to RFQs promptly, ensuring client needs are understood and addressed.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to develop proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Actively seek and convert new leads into loyal, long-term customers.
- Monitor municipal, provincial, and federal portals for waste management opportunities.
- Stay informed about marketplace changes, including mergers and acquisitions, to keep CWL competitive.
- Represent CWL at tradeshows and sponsored events, showcasing our offerings and building relationships (travel required).
- Utilize and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) systems to ensure smooth operations.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Experience: 3-5 years in sales, preferably in the industrial or commercial waste management sector.
- Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Attitude: Positive, professional, and customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with waste management practices and regulatory frameworks.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
