We Offer: - Competitive wages - Extended health benefits - Education reimbursement - Great company culture Key Requirements: - Minimum 5 years experience in landscape construction - A positive attitude and willingness to encourage/motivate/train crew members - Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - Experience in organizing, setting up and running a job site - Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as skid steers or excavators - Basic understanding of irrigation, lighting, horticulture - Ability to read, understand and build projects from landscape drawings, schematics and documents - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team - Excellent problem solving skills with a "can do" attitude - Understanding of proper safety procedures and ability to recognize hazards - Able to work in inclement weather and keep a positive attitude **Responsibilities**: - Lead and direct a field staff of up to 5 people - Work closely with sub contracted trades - Work with Management to plan, order and stage materials effectively - Deliver projects on budget, on time while maintaining high quality - Assist and direct installation of materials such as plants, pavers, walls **Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week **Benefits**: - Company car - Company events - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Life insurance - Paid time off - Tuition reimbursement - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Overtime Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay **Experience**: - Construction: 5 years (preferred) - Skilled Labor: 5 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Driver's License (required) Work Location: In person
