**Your Role**:
The Forklift General Labour is responsible for creating displays, stands, operating a forklift and panels for our customer sites (big box stores & distributors). This person will report into the Merchandising Supervisor and work closely with other assemblers in a warehouse type environment.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Assembling display boards by placing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles and mosaics onto particle board, melamine, sintra board, and MDF using mostly silicone
- Grout display boards when appropriate
- Perform carpentry work from time to time
- Perform quality checks on product boards received from manufacturers overseas
- Revise designs according to feedback from clients or other members of design team
- Installing and dismantling of displays
- Recommending creative and new design ideas to management
- **50% Assembler, 25% General Labour & 25% Forklift**:

- Other duties as assigned

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- High School Diploma
- **Forklift Counter Balance**:

- Steady hand and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work effectively while making improvements to work more efficiently
- Good communications skills
- Able to stand for long periods of time & carry up to 60lbs

**_Working Conditions_**
- Work is performed in a warehouse/assembly environment with exposure to: (a) fluctuating heat and cold due temperatures; (b) some noise associated with tile cutting activities and occasional forklift traffic; (c) WHMIS chemicals
- PPE safety equipment must be worn and precautions exercised
- Position requires a high level of sustained visual attention, high manual dexterity on a regular basis performing physical and demanding job tasks
- Work requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and carry up to 50 lbs
- Work requires the ability to bend, twist, lift, reach and stretch frequently

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
