Winnipeg, Canada New Directions Full time

New Directions is a social service agency offering a wide range of resources and services that provide supports in a variety of settings and foster people’s hopes and dreams in their communities.
- Supported Cluster Housing (SCH) is one of the many services offered by New Directions. SCH provides independent living supports to adults who may have intellectual disabilities and/or mental health issues. This includes identifying service gaps, collaborating with program funders, and developing proposals for new initiatives. The Manager is also responsible for providing leadership to and supervision of a team of coordinators, unit supervisors and case managers. As well, this position is accountable for preparing and managing the service area’s current budget of approximately 3 million dollars annually, in collaboration with New Directions’ financial team.
- This position oversees the 24/7 operations at multiple cluster apartment sites, which includes developing policies and procedures specific to the service area, managing overall staffing needs (hiring, evaluating and managing end of employment supported by Human Resources) and overseeing crisis response. This position represents SCH within the New Directions’ Agency Management Team, in addition to funders and other related organizations.
