Position Overview:
As the Equipment Sales Representative you will be responsible for equipment and rentals sales, providing innovative solutions to customers, and identifying new markets and opportunities for the sales of new and used Caterpillar equipment.

**You must be living and willing to travel within the region to support our customer base.

The annual total compensation target is $90,000-$120,000

**Job Description**:

- Evaluate customer needs, promote and sell products and services to meet those needs and provide quality solutions to address customers’ needs.
- Develop and maintain client information and data utilizing Finning (Canada)’s CRM software and Product Improvement Program to enable accurate market intelligence, pricing, estimates, and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve targets for revenue growth and profitability.
- Maintain sound long-term relationships with customers, Caterpillar, internal departments and staff.
- Prepare accurate and timely forecasts, pricing, estimates and market intelligence of parts and service revenue targets for assigned customer base to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Establish appropriate targets, goals and objectives that are aligned with corporate strategy.
- To achieve profitable parts and service revenue based on corporate and territory targets.
- Ensure all sales documents and customer agreements are completed in a consistent, accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure proper territory coverage, account planning strategies and strong time management skills.
- Develop and grow long-term strategic relationships with major accounts.
- Understand the competitor activity and utilize lost sales reporting.

Education and Experience:

- Proven sound mechanical knowledge of the construction industry (Compact Construction Equipment and Building Construction Products) is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven customer-centricity and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and experience with CRM platforms.
- Understands and adheres to safety procedures and protocols.
- Proficient in MS Office package.
