**Job Summary**
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Casual Montessori Assistants to support our early childhood education programs. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to facilitate a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist lead teachers in implementing Montessori-based activities and lessons
- Support children in their daily routines, including classroom activities, snack time, and outdoor play
- Observe and monitor children's behavior, providing encouragement and guidance
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community atmosphere
- Participate in classroom setup and material preparation to enhance learning experiences

**Skills**
- Previous classroom experience or background in early childhood education is preferred (Montessori Education)
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Experience working with children of various ages and abilities, including those with disabilities
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting children's growth and learning
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to handle the dynamic environment of a Montessori classroom

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
