**Casa Mia Montessori**, a boutique early learning center in SE Calgary, is looking for a warm, dedicated, and qualified Montessori-trained Educator (Level 2 or 3) to join our small and collaborative team.

We are seeking someone who genuinely loves working with children and is deeply passionate about guiding their growth and independence in a Montessori environment. You will play a vital role in nurturing the whole child — emotionally, socially, and cognitively — through respectful, child-led learning.

**Key Responsibilities / Duties**:
Prepare and maintain a calm, organized, and fully equipped Montessori classroom

Present five core Montessori materials each day, aligned with each child's development

Observe and guide children’s learning using authentic Montessori techniques

Document children’s work and progress; share regular photo updates through the center’s parent communication app

Assist with children’s hygiene routines (including diapering and toileting as needed)

Support children during meal and snack times with encouragement and care

Foster respectful, kind, and independent behavior in the classroom

Collaborate with other team members to ensure a nurturing, consistent environment

Maintain daily records (attendance, incident reports, etc.) in compliance with licensing standards

Participate in team meetings and professional development

**Position Requirements**:
Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 2 or 3)
Montessori training is mandatory
A college or university degree related to Early Childhood Education
Valid First Aid/CPR certification (issued within the last 3 years)
Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 6 months)

**Compensation**:
Level 2: $18-$19/hour + Alberta wage top-up
Level 3: $20-$22/hour + Alberta wage top-up
- Final wage based on experience and qualifications_
