**JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Reviewing drawings, specifications, project documents, and site conditions to prepare quantity and scope takeoffs for projects of small to medium scale.
- Assembling relevant takeoffs into detailed project estimates for bidding purposes.
- Daily scheduling of resources and field supervision of construction activities to ensure projects are completed within budget and in accordance with relevant specifications.
- Ensure all work is being completed in a productive and safe manner.
- Daily production and cost reporting to direct supervisors and senior management, as required.
- Various other coordination and management functions, as necessary.

**SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:

- Basic knowledge and understanding of heavy civil construction operations and processes is strongly preferred.
- An ambitious individual with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Must demonstrate effective organizational and time management capabilities.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive work attitude with an overall eagerness to learn.
- Valid Class G driver’s license.

**EDUCATION**:

- A University Degree or College Diploma in Civil Engineering is preferred, but not a requirement.
