Total Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a Junior Project Manager / Assistant PM from the Construction/Restoration industry looking for an opportunity to develop and grow in the North Bay area. **Position Title: Estimator** **Role Summary**:The Estimator provides estimating support to the organization. They will work closely with the Performance Manager & Project Managers to produce estimates quickly and accurately based on information provided to them. The Estimator will participate as a team contributor by knowing the requirements of each insurance company, independent adjusters, and DKI’s policies, procedures, and timelines. They will work effectively with team members to ensure that service levels are met and adhered to when preparing estimates. **Responsibilities**: - Virtually build property damage and restoration estimates electronically with specific attention to: - Quality assurance to align with the protocols of insurance carrier partners - Timeliness of estimate completion - Value added through identifying and utilizing appropriate estimating techniques - Scope and estimate using estimating software (Xactimate or Symbility) and coordinate losses in a timely fashion ensuring KPI’s are met. - Proficient in Xactimate, Xactanalysis and Symbility estimating software skills. - Virtually build property damage and restoration estimates electronically with specific attention to: - Quality assurance to align with the protocols of insurance carrier partners **Skills/ Competencies Required**: - Has 1 year of progressive work experience in estimating - Valid Certification through IICRC for: Water Remediation Technician, Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician, Odor Control Technician, Mold Remediation, etc - Experience using Microsoft Outlook - k, Word, and Excel - Proficient in Xactimate, Xactanalysis and Symbility estimating software skills - Ability to work flexible hours as required - Strong knowledge of the Canadian Restoration Industry **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: - North Bay, ON P1B 2J2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Project management: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
