Project Manager and Estimator

Duties:

- Conduct detailed cost estimations for large and multi-faceted construction projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Utilize project management methodology to develop detailed project plans and schedules
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating materials, labor, and subcontractors.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential issues or challenges that may impact project timelines or costs
- Work closely with general contractors to meet training, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination and integration of project tasks.
- Prepare and present project estimates to clients or stakeholders, explaining the basis of the estimate and any assumptions made
- Maintain accurate and detailed records related to project documentation, budgets, and contracts.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on estimated versus actual costs

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in estimating and project management, preferably in the construction industry.
- CIT, PMP, and P.Eng certifications are assets but not required.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
- Experience with Gantt charts and project scheduling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
