Hendrickson Spring is hiring Production Operators.
- Provide proof you have completed highschool or GED.
- Proven Mathematical, Mechanical, Measurement and Blueprint reading skills. You will complete a skills assessment quiz if selected for an interview.
- Basic computer skills
- **Will be flexible to be placed on either afternoon or night shift.**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Loads and unloads furnaces, camber wheels, saws, eye grind and shot peen machines
- Positions work piece on fixtures or dies and onto conveyors.
- Starts equipment and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
- Inspects work pieces for conformance to visual specifications.
- Grinds burrs when and where required.
- Operates bushing, rivet, clip presses, clamps, fixtures, vices and various hand tools to assemble hardware to spring leaves and spring leaves into assemblies.
- Positions work piece against fixtures or stops on the press table and initiates pressing or drilling operation.
- Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
- Takes individual components such as spring leaves, spacers, clips, liners, pins, etc and assembles them together as per spring assembly print and follows all applicable specifications.
- Inspects work pieces for conformance to specifications.
- Completes inspection and prints tags, fills in charts and forms as required by the Quality Control Plan.
- Loads and unloads conveyors as part of the painting and assembly of springs.
- Maintains a clean and safe workplace.
- Maintains inventory accuracy through QAD
- **Hot and dirty work environment. Heavy lifting, parts can range between 40lbs-100lbs.**

**OTHER DETAILS**
- **MUST be flexible to be placed on afternoon or night shift**. Straight shifts, no rotation.
- Overtime may be required, as per the collective agreement
- Starting wage is $1.50 lower than top rate. A gradual increase of.50 will be given at 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months.
- There is a shift premium of.85 for afternoon shift and.95 per hour for night shift.
- Two weeks vacation after one year of service. One day of vacation will be granted for each month of service completed for the first year.
- Benefits after completion of probationary period
- Company matched pension plan after one year of service.
- Probationary period of 520 working hours and 3 months of service.
- This is a unionized environment. Seniority granted once probation is completed.

**Salary**: $27.09-$28.05 per hour
