**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Preparing and organizing personal tax slips and receipts.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Utilize accounting software such as Tax Prep, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
- Maintain organized files for all financial documents and transactions.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and TaxPrep is a plus.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes and principles of accounting is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze accounts and perform account analysis effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management and reporting.
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within the Accounting team and across departments.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
