BRON is looking for a **Purchasing Manager** to join our team This position will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, sourcing and, and managing the availability of necessary materials required to support the manufacturing schedule as well as the department itself.

**Roles Responsibilities**:

- Place orders for parts and materials as required by the production schedule.
- Track long lead time orders and accommodate forecasts from Sales.
- Continuously search for sources that provide best value to the Company, including but not limited to, cost-saving
- Negotiate pricing.
- Maintain updated supplier information.
- Monitor open POs and adjust delivery dates according to the production schedule.
- Expedite orders as required.
- Resolve invoice issues.
- Coach and mentor employees to excel.
- Work with our U.S. location.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director - Supply Chain Management

**Education, Experience, and Skills**:

- Minimum 2-3 years in Purchasing or similar role.
- Previous experience in the Heavy Equipment industry with an emphasis on drainage plows and utility plows.
- Effective communication with Suppliers, Engineering, Production staff, Shop floor staff.
- Has exceptional organization skills.
- Is detail oriented.
- Has a sense of urgency when required.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills.
- Has proficient skills in all Microsoft platforms with an emphasis on proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to engage in critical thinking when faced with any problem and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Experience with Visual Manufacturing ERP system is preferred.
- SCMP designation preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Woodstock, ON N4S 8Z4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
