The **Regional Human Resources Manager**will act as a Business Partner collaborating with and providing advice and guidance to Management and Associates for our Western region (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba) in both union and non-union locations. You will be working in partnership with cross-functional teams, such as Distribution, Sales and Customer Experience to name a few, on all types of Human Resources related matters. In addition, you will play a key role in the execution of national human resource programs

**In this role you will**:

- Drive employee engagement and retention by partnering with the business to coach them to continuously seek feedback, analyze data, and help develop strategies to address opportunities
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership team and provide advice on performance, policy interpretation, discipline/grievance and legislation
- Provide positive employee relations support to both unionized and non-union sites
- Collaborate on company-wide programs such as engagement, EDI&B (equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging), performance, and learning
- Lead, mentor and develop Western Canada Human Resources team
- Ensure compliance with government legislation and regulations for Western Canada
- Lead employee investigations independently
- Facilitate training sessions across the business both in person and virtually as required
- Participate and support the Health and Safety Committee
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and support the business with identifying recruitment strategies
- Lead and participate in various Human Resources projects, initiatives as required

**Qualifications**

**The Qualifications and Experience we like to see**:

- Must have 5 years progressive experience working in a client-focused HRBP role and dealing with a large client base
- Post-secondary education with a degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field; designation (CHRP/CHRL) in Human Resource Management is an asset
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ability to influence, negotiate, problem-solve, analyze and make recommendations to management
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to critically analyze HR data to proactively identify trends and prepare HR/Business plans
- Strong time management and organizational skills and attention to detail to manage work, competing deadlines and sensitive projects
- Union/Labour relations experience
- Experience with using Oracle or an HRIS system is a definite asset
- Strong computer skills in Excel, MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Bilingual in English and French (written/verbal) is an asset
- Will be required to travel to Distribution Centres/Stores as needed across Western Canada
