Aurora Peat Products produces professional grade Canadian Sphagnum peat moss products that enhance crop productivity and overall growing media quality for a wide range of industries and uses such as: soil mixes for the horticulture market, soil conditioners, mushroom casing material, general vegetable gardening, cannabis, and reforestation seedlings. We are a leader in promoting sustainability within our environment and industry. We are currently looking for Loader Operator - Full Time - Edmonton Location

On a daily basis this person will be responsible for:

- Working safely and in accordance with OH&S procedures and guidelines
- Experience with front end loaders mandatory for moving and loading of peat moss
- Keeping production line moving in accordance with the daily schedule
- Performing routine maintenance and inspection on equipment
- Operating other equipment such as skid steer, forklift, loader w/forks to assist other areas of the plant
- Regular housekeeping in work area and duties as assigned by supervisors
- Punctual & Reliable
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Other duties as required

To be able to achieve those responsibilities we are looking for the following characteristics:

- Experience operating front end loaders
- Knowledge of various agriculture equipment
- Self-starter, willing to learn, and strong work ethic
- Good communication, organizational and time management skills
- Understands safe work practices
