**About the Position**:
We are looking for a driven, talented, and personable individual to join our team in the role of Site Manager.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations & Engineering this position is a combination of tactical and hands on leadership responsible for leading and managing a team of warehouse associates in the effective assembly, shipping, and receiving activities within an assembly / manufacturing environment. This role will achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, maintain safety standards and manage employee productivity in order to ensure customer satisfaction and a high level of quality and accuracy. This position will be a dynamic leader that inspires high levels of productivity and engagement in order to achieve organizational goals. This position will also have responsibilities for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the physical building.

Oversee day to day operations ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with quality and customer service being a primary goal
- Establish, monitor and manage operations
- Determine product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
- Master use of ERP system
- Manage cycle counts
- Manage accurate stock transfers
- Investigate and resolve customer issues and stock issues
- Support 5S/Kaizen activities for continuous improvement
- Manage facility inventory, partnering with 3PL’s if needed
- Participate in annual company inventory

Attract, motivate, retain and lead a high performing team of employees.
- Participate in the recruiting process of new employees, including interviewing and extending offers of employment
- Coach and develop employees through one-on-one feedback and managing the onboarding and training programs
- Monitor and manage employee performance. Conduct performance reviews and employee performance management
- Monitor and manage attendance
- Reconcile and submit payroll
- Monitor and communicate all Key Performance Indicators / Metrics and post daily / weekly information for all teams.
- Assist employees with tasks as needed

Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, productivity, shipping, receiving, production and customer service.
- Run daily production reporting for Domestic and Commercial lines of business
- Create work orders to support daily production targets
- Close work orders / Verify accuracy or orders
- Ensure pick orders are run and sorted for associates
- Ensure all orders picked, checked and completed to 99% accuracy
- Manage SSTOCK levels to meet production goals
- Ensure receiving manages all incoming items with labels and proper put-away protocols

Maintain site health and safety requirements and programs
- Ensure employees receive all required health and safety training by collaborating with the Training team and/ or Human Resources on the timing and delivery of required courses.
- Monitor heath and safety programs for compliance
- Support and promote the health and safety committee

**About you**:

- Post secondary education in supply chain management or other related field or combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in leading, managing and motivating a high performing team of employees.
- Minimum of (5) five years experience in an operational role ideally managing a customer or specialty production / assembly warehouse
- Experience in transport management, supply chain management and warehouse operations considered an asset
- Proficient in the use of ERP system (QAD)
- Excellent IT and technical skills, especially with Excel and data management
- Computer literate and proficient using MS Office, Google sheets / docs
- Experience or knowledge of ERP systems (QAD an asset)
- Sound knowledge of health and safety requirements in a warehouse facility
- Organizing and maintaining a good flow of inventory to meet production targets
