Early Childhood Educator

**Please note: We are looking for a full time ECE to join our Infant/Toddler program and a part time (25hrs/week) ECEA to work as classroom support in our 3-5 classroom.**
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The Early Childhood Educator and Assistant work under the direction of the Executive Director to implement an emergent, nature and play-based Early Learning program. They will provide quality child care to community families from ages 0-5.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Certified Early Childhood Educator, currently licensed to practice in BC is mandatory, I/T or S/N certificate an asset
- Current First Aid
- Food safe certification an asset
- Clear Criminal Record check
- Experience working in nature programs an asset
- Experience working with children ages 0 - 5
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Willingness to work various shifts during operating hours
**Compensation and Benefits**:
- $24-$26.50 per hour
- BC Certified ECE Wage Enhancement pay in addition to above wage
- 4% vacation pay plus 8 bonus days off (divided between Summer and Winter Break)
- 5 paid sick days
- 13 Statutory holidays paid (2 more than required by BC employment standards)
