We offer a respectful open work environment, friendly work culture, and chance to learn, be playful and creative. **Requirements**: - 1 years commercial kitchen experience - 1-2 year of bread baking or dough experience - Culinary/ baking education is preferred - Strong constitution, able to lift 50 lbs - No existing injuries - Willing to work with intensity - Ability to multitask and operate in fast pace when needed - Can work independently or in a team - Can arrive independently on time **Duties & Responsibilities may include**: At Dear Grain we share all responsibilities from dough making, shaping to packing and cleaning. Primary responsibilities will include: - Cutting, shaping and proofing of dough - Baking breads in our deck oven - Mixing dough up to per 160kg batch - Slicing and packing breads and buns - Prep work - Cleaning and restocking inventory **Schedule availability**: - PT 3-4 days week Approx 25-32 hr week to start with FT possibility - Shift length Approx 6-8hr - Weekdays/ at least one weekend day - Ideal days: Thursday - Sunday - General Availability 6am - 2pm - $18.00 - $21.00 per hour - depending on experience ( Plus Tips) Big League Food Company is the next generation of beloved food brands. Our current brand portfolio includes Village Juicery, Dark Horse Espresso, Detour Coffee, Dear Grain Bakery, and Tori’s Bakeshop. Compensation $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
