We offer a respectful open work environment, friendly work culture, and chance to learn, be playful and creative. **About the role** We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our night baking team (training will be offered). A person with an artisanal nature who likes making things beautiful. Someone who loves working with their hands, is crafty, coordinated and into food and especially baking anything rustic like breads or pizzas. Someone energetic, fast paced and strong who thrives at night and does not mind the heat. **Job requirements** - 1 years commercial kitchen experience - 1 year of bread baking/ Pizza baking or similar experience ideal - Strong constitution, able to lift 50 lbs - Willing to work in a hot environment (temperatures can reach 40°C in summer near the oven) - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Ability to multitask and operate in fast pace when needed - Can arrive independently & Reliably on time - Physically strong, dependable, and committed - Minimum 1 year commitment **Responsibilities** - Baking free form and pan loaves each per shift as a team - Scoring breads - Loading and unloading breads from electric deck oven - Packing breads For Deliveries - Cleaning and maintaining a tidy workspace - Potentially helping with scaling ingredients and mixing dough **Must Haves** - 1+ year of commercial kitchen experience - 1+ year of bread baking or similar experience ideal - Culinary or baking education is preferred - Highly organized and detail oriented - Genuine passion for baking and artisanal craftsmanship **Schedule and Pay** - Part time approx. 30 hour - 4-5 shifts per week (Friday & Saturday required) - Shift length 6-10hr - General availability needed between 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM - $18.50 - $21.00 per hour (depending on experience) plus tips **Ability to commute/relocate** - Hamilton ON: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) - Should be punctual for the shifts **What we Offer** - A fast-paced environment with ambitious growth and plenty of opportunity to grow - Delicious bakery products to delight your senses Big League Food Company is the next generation of beloved food brands.
