**Apprentice Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist**

**Our Equipment**

We have Overhead cranes up to to 20 Tons and our Horizontal Boring Mills have a machine travel of up to 5 metre with rotary B-Axis - Toshiba with Tosnuc controls and Tos Varnsdorf with Heidenhein controls boring mills.

**Required Experience**

The successful Individual will have experience with skills in:

- machine setup,
- basic program editing,
- tool selection,
- understanding of tool parameter settings,
- blueprint reading, and
- use of measuring instruments.

**Desired Skills and Experience**

1. Recognized Certificate of Qualification as Machinist or equivalent work experience required

2. Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

3. Minimum of 3 years related experience required in machining

4. Operating knowledge of CNC Milling machines

5. Ability to utilize overhead crane to lift and maneuver large work pieces safely, an asset

6. CNC programming and set up abilities, an asset

7. Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve issues with sound judgment

8. Knowledge of GD&T an asset.

9. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

10. Sound mathematical skills
