Golden Equity Properties has been specializing in the acquisition and management of multi-unit residential properties in the Quebec and Ontario markets since 2001.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Leasing Agent to join our growing team and to handle multiple locations in Scarborough.

**What You Will Do**
- Meeting with prospective tenants and accompanying them on viewings of vacant apartment units.
- Draft the tenancy agreements; and conducting relevant background and reference checks
- Assisting the Regional Manager in all Landlord and Tenant Board matters, such as the filing of proceedings and attendance at hearings.
- Providing rental collection support and general administrative support to the Regional Manager, as needed; and
- Any other tasks that may reasonably be required from time to time, and that are consistent with your role as Leasing and Administrative Assistant.
- Stay knowledgeable of the property market status
- Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals
- Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically
- Qualifying prospective residents to determine their needs & suitability as renters
- Maintains current awareness of industry practices and trends
- Other duties as assigned

**What You Will Bring to The Role**
- 3-5 years related experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices
- Up to date with property market status
- MS Office familiarity
- Customer service orientation
- Must have a vehicle
