Supervises all areas of the Food & Beverage Outlets. Restaurant, In Room Dining, Executive Lounge & Banquets
- Strong Understanding of all Food & Beverage Outlets Managers responsibilities and confidentially carries them out in their absence
- Coordinates promotional and special events
- Supervises staff and makes recommendations in respect to training, development and discipline.
- Monitors schedule, payroll and related costs according to business demands in a manner that will maintain efficient service.
- Oversees guest service to ensure compliance with the standards established for the Food & Beverage outlets.
- Ensures that all areas are prepared and ready for service.
- Inspects the food service areas regularly to ensure that standards of health, safety, and hygiene are being adhered to.
- Monitors food brought to the Food & Beverage outlets to ensure compliance with standards of quality and control. Makes recommendations as required.
- Coordinates arrangements for private parties, practicing suggestive selling techniques in conjunction with the Food & Beverage outlet standards and Sales and Catering needs.
- Maintains seating arrangements to achieve maximum seating and comfort.
- Takes and records reservations, ensuring coordination with reservations taken by the Sales department.
- Communicates with the Kitchen on any daily matter of concern.
- Ensures that all necessary requisitions and orders are prepared and maintains a working stock of all supplies.
- Prepares and submits any discipline and Human Resources reports and forwards them to the F&B Outlet Manager
- Uses complete confidentiality in all matters concerning employees and privileged information.
- Provides change and maintains a personal cash float, and is accountable for such.
- Creates a harmonious working atmosphere and assists in the development of a flexible, consistent and cohesive Food & Beverage team.
- Acts as the primary resource for employee questions and concerns Explains the menu, promotions, buffet selection and specials of the day.
- Resolves guest complaints by demonstrating the empowerment process and encouraging others to use it.
- Acts as a Server or bus person to reduce the workload or meet the deadlines of the department and helps to maintain the professional image of the hotel.
- Addresses guest with the “time of day greeting” and makes an effort to initialize conversation with them.
- Makes every effort to visit each table during service for conversation and be observed as a “supervisor interacting with guests”.
- Complies with Hotel policies and procedures
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Management.
- Variable working hours will be required._

**Salary**: $16.10-$18.75 per hour
