**Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal service.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including equipment and workstations.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail in food presentation and quality assurance.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Passion for cooking and a desire to learn new techniques in the kitchen.

**Qualifications**:

- Food preparation and cooking skills
- Experience in food service and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to handle food with care and maintain cleanliness
- Strong time management skills
- Previous restaurant experience and understanding of the food industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
