**ACADEMIC PROGRAM MANAGER, CORRECTIONAL, COMMUNITY, AND INTEGRATED TRAINING EDUCATION**
**FACULTY OF SKILLS AND FOUNDATIONAL LEARNING**

The Academic Program Manager (Correctional, Community and Integrated Training Education) is a leader in the Faculty of Skills and Foundational Learning. Reporting to the Dean, FSFL, the Academic Program Manager has responsibility for assisting in managing the operation of the faculty and providing leadership at the faculty level and to a cluster of designated program areas and initiatives within the faculty.
The Academic Program Manager maintains internal and external liaison, supports faculty and staff planning and development. The Academic Program Manager works with the Dean, other senior administrators, managers, chairs, faculty, and staff to establish and implement college-wide and faculty goals and objectives to ensure that an effective learning environment is maintained. The Academic Program Manager supports senior leadership in fiscal planning and management within the faculty and may carry out other roles and projects as required.
The focus of the position will involve enrolment management, academic policy implementation and monitoring, maintenance of an effective learning environment, academic appeals, faculty and staff recruitment and development, special projects, program and curriculum quality, internal and external networking, and internal and external committee involvement as assigned. The Academic Program Manager will also support and ensure the continued implementation of Equity Diversity & Inclusion, Anti-Racism, and Decolonial Indigenization into key functions within the faculty to ensure an equitable learning and work environment.

- Communicate with faculty and management as needed.
- Act as a role model for learners by demonstrating professionalism.
- Support faculty development.
- Ensure academic policy is implemented and monitored.
- Support senior leadership in administrative and operational leadership, fiscal planning, and management within the faculty. Ensure maintenance of an effective learning environment, resolve academic appeals, and support program reporting.
- Approve Faculty assignments.
- Supports external Program Approvals (accreditation).
- Work on timetabling in collaboration with the OR, faculty, and staff.
- Action strategic enrolment management direction and decisions.
- Provide operational execution and oversight of the strategic enrolment management plan and priorities in tandem of the college strategy in relation to the program.
- Work with business planning unit to develop and manage program budget.
**WHAT YOU BRING**
- A Bachelor of Education degree (Master’s degree in Education or Social Sciences is an asset).
- Significant related experience in leadership, management, and supervisory experience in postsecondary setting.
- Experience in leading and managing correctional education programming.

**SALARY**:$111,219-$139,052 annually, reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time permanent position with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
