Our service team takes pride in providing property owners, management offices, and insurance company contacts with all the necessary staff members and industry recognized equipment required to complete any task, large or small, in a safe, professional, and economic manner.

Our newest location in Ottawa is looking for team members to grow with us. As our Building Estimator, you will be responsible for meeting timelines, estimating residential/commercial/construction needs, management of internal and external software systems, scheduling, and customer relations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain relations with all vendors, insured’s, adjusters, engineers, building inspectors, inhouse administration and accounting
- Maintain compliance metrics with internal and external software
- Oversee new claims management from new claims intake to completion of emergency services and potential rebuild
- Be available to respond to emergency requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during on call rotation
- Update software programs with necessary documents/signed authorizations or releases/photographs/COVID-19 protocol paperwork
- Issues purchase orders (P.O.)
- Read, interpret, and understand drawings and specifications
- Keep tender documents organized
- Assemble accurate, profitable and well-organized estimates in a timely manner for a stipulated price
- Coordinate periodic visit with project manager to examine progress and provide oversight to track claim progress to maximize project profitability, communications, and timelines
- Reviews costs, prepares, and uploads invoicing, and communicates with inhouse administration
- Ensures compliance with all applicable building codes, health and safety legislation, Ministry of Labour and Human Rights.

**Qualifications**:

- Education and/or Training_

High School Diploma

Current IICRC accreditation preferable

Valid license with clean driving record

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities_

Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal.

Good communication, multi tasking, organization, and decision-making skills

People skills - must be able to remain calm and resolve difficult situations.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
