**Why this role is significant**

As Pub Support, you act as the communication link between the front of house and the kitchen, ensuring that food is served at the quality we take pride in. This team encompasses both the Food Runner and Host roles. The Food Runner position is crucial in helping servers effectively manage guest expectations and overall experiences, while the Host sets the tone for each guest's visit and creates the first impression of our business.

**A day in the life**
- Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, and provide menus to create a seamless and welcoming pub experience.
- Manage the waitlist during busy times, offering accurate wait times and friendly updates to guests.
- Deliver room service and poolside orders efficiently, ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous service.
- Keep hotel hallways clear of room service trays to maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
- Be familiar with all menu items, including dips, sides, and sauces, to support smooth service and answer guest questions confidently.
- Keep the Pub clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times, creating a presentable and functional space.
- Confidently carry plates and follow food running procedures, ensuring meals are delivered accurately and gracefully.
- Assist with table maintenance by promptly clearing and resetting tables to welcome new guests.
- Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
