**About the job.**

The Pub Support team serves as the communication line between the front of house and the kitchen, ensuring that food is served at the quality we pride ourselves on. This team includes both the Food Runner and Host positions. The Food Runner role is essential for servers to effectively manage guest expectations and experiences, while the Host sets the tone for guests' experiences and is the first impression they have of our business.

**What you'll be doing.**
- Greet guests, assist with seating, and provide menus in the Pub
- Manage the waitlist during busy periods and provide accurate wait times to guests
- Provide efficient delivery of room service and pool-side orders to guests
- Ensure hotel hallways are kept clear of room service trays
- Recognize all menu items, including dips, sides, and sauces
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock of the Pub at all times
- Confidently carry plates and follow food running procedures
- Maintain continuous communication with both the BOH and FOH teams
- Assist with table maintenance and resetting tables
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately as required

**About you.**
- Willingness to learn and grow both personally and professionally
- Strong teamwork skills and high level of professionalism
- Guest-centric attitude and ability to work with a variety of personalities
- Resourceful mindset and ability to find and utilize resources to enhance guest experiences
- Effective communication skills
- Certified in FoodSafe, or willing to obtain certification
- Ability to work a flexible schedule preferred including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

- The wage offered for this position is $15.65 per hour and increasing to $16.75 per hour June 1st, with additional tips
