**Summary of Responsibilities**
As the Manager, WV,SP & Boat Sales you will play a pivotal role in implementing and overseeing the Marine sales strategy through program creation and implementation. Your primary objective will be to drive growth and profitability while supporting many key marine functions across the organization in addition to managing G3/Skeeter distribution for Canada.
This role will Manage and be the Canadian lead for WV/SP Product management end to end.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
**Sales Programs**:
- Manage, develop, and create all Marine sales programs (wholesale & Retail) to ensure our Yamaha business remains competitive and as a market leader.
- Ensure vetting and support to marketing post program to ensure accuracy across all channels.
- Run Competitive analysis with all industry programs.
**Sales Targets**:
- Achieve National Sales Targets for all product lines including G3 & Skeeter through an strategic approach, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory management.
- Conduct quarterly Strategic market visits to understand our dealer network and relevant markets.
**Product Management**:
- Develop product plan requirements based on market input, data and research. Work with Yamaha Japan and their affiliates to confirm mid-term product plans, and be the leading voice for Yamaha Canada future needs.
- Communicate detailed product information to all internal departments with ongoing support.
- Be the Canadian Lead for GCoPP for WV.
**Strategic Planning**:
- Create and implement Territory Strategic Planning (TSP) to maximize dealer engagement and expand market presence, driving growth and revenue generation. Plan and implement dealer development targets to ensure clear direction to our National Field Manager.
**Business to Business**:
- Manage a comprehensive B2B strategy for each product line.
**Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other departments such as marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless operations and alignment of strategies through proactive communication.
**Team Leadership**:
Coach and develop direct reports through ongoing training, performance and, management to ensure growth and continuity in achieving department and corporate goals.
**Experience Requirements**
- **Degree/Diploma**:Post-secondary, university preferred
- **Program of Study**:Sales, Marketing, or Business Related
- **Years of Experience**:Minimum 5+ years
- **Type of Experience**:Sales
**Skills and Abilities**
- Strong leadership skills
- Strategic self-starter with strong program management skills
- Experience selling across multiple product categories
- Ability to lead change and act as a change agent
- Ability to identify, prioritize and articulate highest impact initiatives
