You’ll also receive comprehensive benefits and a great uniform **What do Pre-Board Screening Officers do?** You will be using your exceptional customer service skills to uphold the safety of passengers and create a positive travel experience by: - Efficiently screening passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints - Confirming valid boarding passes - Scanning and testing baggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines, metal detectors, other technology, along with physical search techniques - Protecting restricted areas - Managing conflict - Communicating clearly and effectively - Upholding all regulations with vigilance **What You Bring**: - Excellent customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one (1) year - Open availability to work any shift as required by the airport operations, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays - Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in French is an asset - Ability to comply with the CATSA medical requirements - High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - Current resident of Victoria, or the surrounding area - Must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident **This role will be fully based at Victoria International Airport (YYJ).** Paladin Airport Security Services Ltd.
