**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Head of Department.
- Monitor multiple networks for security breaches and investigate violations as necessary and communicate potential threats to Senior Cyber Team members.
- Provide technical support in monitoring of newly discovered threats and attacks and communicating newly discovered threats and mitigations strategies.
- Research and evaluate leading-edge cyber defense methods and technologies, including hardware software and cloud services.
- Establish security best practice.
- Participate in tabletop cyber security exercises.
- Identify and establish ethical hacking tools that can be used by the Cyber Hub and member boards.
- Participates in both project and operationally focused initiatives regarding end user protection technologies and implementing standards/processes.
- Other duties assigned by the Senior Manager, IT services.
- Support the development, implementation and enhancement of ERP buddies cyber security concierge solution.
- Perform in-depth investigations of events of interest (EOI) or indicators of compromise (IOC) identifies during threat hunt activities or security alerts received from various security technologies as per defined investigation and incident response procedures.
- Establish working relationship with appropriate internal stakeholders and external clients during the investigation process to determine whether a security incident has occurred, identify the root cause and provide appropriate recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with the senior team to develop hunt tactics based on threat intelligence information, attacker technique and procedures.
- Create monthly cyber security reports for all internal and external clients.
- Research industry trends, identify ongoing security threats, analyze new security testing tools and provide recommendations on the need and usefulness of services and/or products.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in general cyber security.
- Good working knowledge of one or more of the following topics:

- Create monthly cyber security reports.
- Common security threats, industry best practices and security technologies.
- Good working knowledge of advanced endpoint analytics.
- Experience with cyber kill chain.
- Must have a solid working knowledge of networking.
- Experience in DLP, IPS/IDS, firewalls, content filtering, end-point protection, penetration testing and ethical hacking.
- Experience with SIEM technologies such as Splunk.
- Experience in developing and managing security awareness programs, crisis management and tabletop simulations.

**In addition to the above requirements, the following will be an added advantage**:

- Prior experience with cybersecurity risk assessments, threat assessments etc.
- Knowledge of penetration testing.
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or OSCP or eJPT.
