**Finance Assistant**

**Location**: Lustre Products

**Job Type**: Permanent, Full-Time (Consideration for Part-Time)
**Schedule**: 4-Day Work Week (Monday to Thursday - Enjoy 3-Day Weekends)

**Position Overview**:
As a Finance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in the Finance team, working closely with Management and various departments. You’ll be the primary point of contact for day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and vendor communications, along with supporting general administrative tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately prepare and send customer invoices in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and manage related communications
- Record customer payments including cheques, EFTs, and credit card transactions
- Post and verify accounts receivable data in the ERP system
- Generate and distribute monthly customer account statements
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and customer inquiries
- Maintain both digital and physical filing systems for financial records
- Provide support with research, data analysis, and special projects
- Administer trade apprentice reporting and related programs
- Perform various day-to-day office administration tasks as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in a finance-related field preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (especially Acumatica) is an asset, particularly within a manufacturing environment
- Previous exposure to financial accounting is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and advanced Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive
- Positive team player with a willingness to learn
