Region: North America
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, The Inside Sales Coordinator will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. This individual must be comfortable with regular customer communication, relationship building, tracking sales efforts in CRM, working with channel partners, generating interest, and qualifying prospective leads. They must fully understand the internal and external operations of the business and assist in the procurement of products and the transportation of materials to and from the Alcotex facility. The
Inside Sales Coordinator will work across our Group of Companies in an effort streamline communication and assist in liaising directly with Alcotex’s South Korean supplier partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and industry databases.
- Forward qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Develop a full understanding of the aluminum composite materials marketplace and the
Alcotex product line.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand Alcotex’s customer base throughout North America.
- Directly assist and create material orders from our South Korean supplier partners to support upcoming projects and potential opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels and support the re-supply of materials coming from South Korea.
- Assist with the coordination of material shipments to your customers in Canada and the United
States.
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the Macdonald Group of Companies to support additional businesses under the ownership group by completing similar tasks.
- Fully understand the Alcotex quote process in Canada and the United States to properly support the business in this capacity when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven inside sales experience in the building materials industry.
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Experience in the management of logistics and warehousing is considered an asset.
- Korean speaking is considered a very strong asset.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree (University or College)
**Salary**: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
