**Overview**

This role would attract an advocate who wants a lot of client contact, either virtually or in person.. It is a full-time hybrid job in Toronto for an associate with up to four years of experience. The focus is on health and employment law. There is the option to add areas of one's choice. The lawyer hired will have an interest in healthcare, demonstrated through work, volunteering or studies, as well as the knowledge and skill to represent employees in work-related matters.

The principal is an established sole practitioner with a burgeoning caseload. The associate will assist with some cases and work independently on others. The associate is welcome to bring in new clients.

The advocacy in which we engage may cover other areas of administrative law and litigation. The senior lawyer's additional area of interest has been immigration law.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LL.M.)degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Ontario.
- New call to the Bar with up to four years of experience.
- Strong research skills.
- Excellent writing skills in English.
- Negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment..

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $64,000.00-$73,000.00 per year
