Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is a busy national litigation firm with offices in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. Our employment practice in Ontario is looking for a highly motivated and client-oriented associate who has 2+ years of experience in employment law (this is NOT a position for newly called lawyers).
Our ideal candidate will have a background as a plaintiff lawyer with contingency experience where possible. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a competitive, but professional environment, and within a fun and respectful work culture. This is an opportunity for the right individual to grow and advance within our firm while earning a competitive salary and enjoying work-life balance. The successful candidate will have the option to work remotely, in office, or in a hybrid working model.
The ideal candidate will have:
- LLB or equivalent;
- good standing with the LSO;
- strong written and verbal communication skills;
- the aptitude to work independently while coordinating with other team members;
- excellent attention to detail; and,
- the competence to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines.
For remote working, you will need:
- A home internet connection
