We are a collegial and collaborative law firm specializing in employment, human rights and disability insurance law.

Our office is looking for an employment and human rights lawyer to join our growing team.

As noted above, our firm is collaborative and will place an emphasis on providing guidance and mentorship to help the associate become a successful associate. However, the associate will also be given autonomy to run their own files.

Position requirement, includes:

- A law degree and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Called to the Ontario Bar in 2019, 2020 or 2021
- Eager to learn
- Has demonstrated interest in employment and/or human rights law
- Strong drafting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Works well with team members
- Strong client management skills
- Strong file management skills
- Experience in employment and/or human rights law mandatory

Position duties include:

- File carriage of employment and/or human rights claims
- Independently managing clients and files
- Attending mediations, discoveries, and court proceedings

The position includes a base salary plus a commission component, both to be discussed.

The position also includes benefits (dental benefits, extended healthcare benefits, vision care, physiotherapy, etc.)

Our firm also offers flexible arrangements, which includes an option to work from home or from the office - or a combination of both.
