We are looking for a **Accounts Receivable Associate** to join our growing team

**Role Summary**:
This multifaceted, dynamic role will report to the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Supervisor and oversee the accounts receivable for Waterloo Brewing, while working closely with the accounting team and various departments

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Timely processing of accounts receivable transactions in the Company’s ERP system.
- Review the accounts receivable sub ledger on a frequent basis and address outstanding issues in a timely fashion.
- Manage the collection process, including following up on past due accounts and payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Completion of various reporting, schedules, and calculations by the required due dates.
- Weekly invoicing for customer production.
- Month end transactions, reconciliations and reports for accounts receivable completed within a tight time frame.
- Assist with other month end duties as requested by the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
- Complete monthly LCBO Winery reporting.
- Prepare monthly TBS Keg Reporting.
- Prepare Customs paperwork for US shipments, as required.
- Process daily sales transactions processed through the Company’s retail store, and taphouse.
- Complete credit reference checks and set-up new customers, as needed.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties as they arise.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 1-2 years of Accounting & Finance experience.
- AR experience required, preferably 1+ years.
- A general understanding of accounting principles.
- Post-secondary education (College/University) with a focus on Business/Finance would be an asset, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Collections experience is an asset
- Self-starter, strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Effective organization, planning and time management skills; must be able to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong customer focus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel are essential.
- Familiarity with ERP system with regards to processing of accounts receivable transactions.

This is a hybrid position; some in-office days are required but there is an option to work remotely on the other days (3 in office, 2 at home).

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year

**Education**:
