Network Analyst - Infrastructure Services
**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Provide tier 2 technical support, coordination, facilitation and troubleshooting of networking issues or requests for WCLC’s Gaming and Non-Gaming core IT infrastructure and all telco gateways for Retailer networks and other service providers across member provinces.
- Implement, maintain and optimize WCLC’s wired and wireless networking infrastructure including WCLC’s WAN infrastructure.
- Provision, configure and install networking core and distribution systems and perform corresponding scheduled or out-of-band updates including service packs, hot fixes, firmware and security patches.
- Monitor networking systems performance, resource utilization and trending for capacity planning and to ensure availability and reliability.
- Research, analyze and recommend solutions or innovations where possible to implement new or improve existing networking operational processes and procedures.
- Participate in implementing operational plans and objectives to improve networking service delivery.
- Work within established Change Management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of networking changes made to the IT infrastructure.
- Oversee networking hardware licensing and support contracts.
- Some overtime and On-Call support is required.
**Qualification and Competencies**
- University Degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering and/or Information Technology Diploma or equivalent International Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 6 years technical and networking experience managing complex IT environments, primarily networking infrastructure.
- Cisco CCNP Certification would be beneficial.
- Proven hands-on networking experience.
- Experience and knowledge of Cisco Nexus Data Center switches, ASA, Firepower firewalls, IPS, ISR routers, and Catalyst switches are required.
- Experience and knowledge of Cisco Identity Service Engine is an asset.
- Experience and knowledge of BigIP F5 is beneficial.
- Experience and knowledge of Cisco Wireless LAN Controller and Access Points.
- Experience with VMWare networking.
- Experience and knowledge of SDWAN and SD Access is an asset.
- Experience and knowledge of Azure Networking is an asset.
- Experience with VoIP, Video conference networking.
- Experience working for a network provider or Telco is an asset.
- Superior analytical skills.
- Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively with company associates, stakeholders and vendor partners.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
