Senior Network Analyst We are seeking a detail oriented and task focused Sr. Network Analyst, to join a dynamic Network and Telecom team to manage, support, and optimize networking operations. This role reports to the Manager and the Director of the Network and Telecom team within the IT department. Responsibilities Follow all company mandated health and safety policies and procedures. Plan, coordinate, and implement the configuration and installation of network systems and service in offices, warehouses, commercial stores, and staff housing. Troubleshoot various network and related system outages, making timely corrective measures to ensure no repeat system issues. Gather and document business requirements for network, infrastructure, and related systems. Actively audit services and pursue ways to reduce and optimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Manage and update open incidents, service requests, and monitoring/alerts in ITSM tools. Develop technology diagrams, documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SoP). Open tickets with vendors and service providers for outages and coordinate with field services contractors and providers for repairs.li> Ensure all systems are effectively monitored and alerting to the 24x7 Network Operations Center. Assist in the vendor management and selection of solutions, suppliers and service providers. Assist with the CAPEX and OPEX budget, Purchase Order, and Invoice process. Keep an accurate inventory of all network equipment by location using IT Assessment Management (ITAM) tools. Participate in all network and security audit (External and Internal) reviews and assessments. Desired Skills And Experience Networking: 7+ years (Required). Enterprise Network and Security Systems/Tools: 5+ years (Required). Telecom and Data Services: 3+ years (Required). Technical Experience: Palo Alto firewalls, Juniper/Ruckus switches, Cisco Routers/Switches, and Ruckus/Cisco wireless access points. Knowledge Areas: Enterprise networking and security best practices, Telephony/Data services, and Data Center/Cloud infrastructure. Training and/or Certifications: Palo Alto and Juniper. Additional Assets IT Service Management and ITIL. Project Management Experience. Network Cabling and P2P Wireless. Mobile Device Management. Job Requirements Self-starter who can work independently as well as in teams. Must be able to participate in Level 3 after-hours on-call rotation, with additional compensation. Occasionally work evenings/weekends for planned project work or major outages. Professional, trustworthy, positive attitude with excellent work ethics. Service oriented with excellent customer service skills and fluency in English. Excellent computer skills: Email, Windows, M365 Office (Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, Visio). Lifting required up to approximately 30 Lbs. Must have or obtain a clean Criminal Record Check. Eligible to work in Canada. Location and Travel Location: Corporate offices in Winnipeg. Travel: Occasional travel to stores and offices in Canada, including Northern/Remote areas and First Nations Communities. Optional Travel: Travel to offices and locations in the United States and other countries. Transportation: Own vehicle and ability to drive between local offices. What's in it for you?
