**Fleet Manager**
The Fleet Manager has the responsibility for managing all elements of spend related to Fleet contracts. They will work within supply chain to strategically select partners who can assist with facility contract rationalization, vehicle acquisition, upfitting, vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, etc.while maximizing the value of our fleet as well as reducing risk across the fleet lifecycle.
**Here's what you will do as a Programmer Analyst**:
- Streamline and manage fleet contracts as well as the Spark Power Vehicle inventory (approximately 600 vehicles)
- Assist in the development of a maintenance budget for Fleet, report on this budget quarterly.
- Negotiation and administration of lease contracts for all fleet vehicles for Canada and the US, obtaining titles/insurance for new vehicles while maintaining registration/insurance for existing vehicles.
- Work with decal shop, GPS installers, and repair shops
- Maintain Fleet Management software, Licenses, 407, fleet & gas card tracking, etc.
- Maintain and ensure timely and effective records are kept and up to date for all fleet services
- Develop, maintain and implement all SPC Fleet policies and oversee the execution of preventative fleet maintenance to increase efficiencies & effectiveness of our overall fleet.
- Proactively manage and report on operational performance of the fleet, such as lifecycle management, fuel consumption, and cost analysis, analyze maintenance costs and/or repairs and provide expert recommendations.
- Track utilization of fleet, as well as make recommendations for the redeployment or addition of units
- Develop KPIs to measure performance of our Service Providers, provide feedback and set expectations for future contracts, safeguard Scorecard planning, execution, and follow up
- Establish a playbook of processes for providing operational input for new acquisitions and/or building consolidations
- Maintain, develop and drive continuous improvement of the Key Performance Indicators in line with Supply Chain goals and Company objectives
- Develop and maintain systematic, analytical and results-based methods for savings, monitoring supplier's performance, and sourcing effectiveness; communicate these results to appropriate stakeholders as needed
- Work closely with the business and implement new sources of supply that align with the current business strategies
- Leverage volume across major spend items (driving processes at the highest possible level while identifying additional leveraging opportunities) directly related to Fleet.
- Analyze and report on commodity and supplier performance against goals and objectives.
- Lead negotiation efforts on purchase agreements and vendor contracts while delivering quality, on time supply, service, cost containment, and process improvement.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies alongside our Safety team.
- Performs other duties as assigned & other ad hoc duties

**Do you have the Spark? Here's what we are looking for**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field from an accredited university
- 5+ years of relevant experience in fleet management
- Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI)
- Knowledge of current fleet industry trends & technology
- Demonstrated ability to successfully handle contract negotiations, pricing analysis, and market forecasting.
- Excellent leadership and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to make sound business decisions and set priorities according to the best interests of the business
- Ability to drive results (beat market, plan and constant cover as deliverables to the business)
- Ability to successfully implement new processes, systems and initiatives
- Assists with budget reporting for finance and Senior Staff (must have a solid understanding of Financial Accounting)
- Excellent communication, change management and project management skills
- Bases decisions on a systematic review of relevant facts and information; avoids making assumptions or rushing to judgment; provides clear rationale for decisions
