THE OPPORTUNITY

With exciting new opportunities and partnerships, Impact is seeking an **Electrical Apprentice,** to join our Oil & Gas Team, based out of our Rosetown, SKlocation. The Apprentice will provide support and assistance to our Journeypersons, while learning and developing your skills as you work towards gaining your Journeypersons Certification; including wiring and installation of all equipment on new drill sites and projects.

- Actively indentured with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Eagerness to be great and grow
- Valid and clean class 5 drivers license, endorsements are an asset
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- A safety advocate

**THE WORK**

Well, we do a lot of things Oil & Gas, Mining, Agriculture, Commercial, but today we are focusing on Oil & Gas. Here we go
- Assisting and spotting when digging trenches
- Pulling wire and assisting with terminating wire
- Assisting with the installation of cable trays and other electrical equipment
- Building and laying conduit
- Building CSA approved electrical panels
- Operating power tools, equipment, and measuring and testing devices
- Completing safety documentation
- Assisting with shop clean up and maintenance
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work site

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From $17.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Rosetown, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Electrical: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
- H2S Alive (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
