THE OPPORTUNITY
With exciting new opportunities and partnerships, Impact is seeking an **Electrical Journeyperson,** to join our Oil & Gas Team, based out of our Rosetown, SKlocation. The Journeyperson will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain customer’s equipment; wiring and installing of equipment on new drill sites and projects; leading and teaching the Apprentices working with you, as they learn new skills and techniques in the electrical industry.
Our team would love to hear from you if you have:
- Hold a valid Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as a Construction Electrician
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Eagerness to be great and grow
- Valid and clean class 5 drivers license, endorsements are an asset
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- A safety advocate
**THE WORK**
Well, we do a lot of things Oil & Gas, Mining, Agriculture, Commercial, but today we are focusing on Oil & Gas. Here we go
- Operating the trencher and other power tools, equipment, and measuring and testing devices
- Pulling and terminating wire
- Installing cable trays and other electrical equipment
- Building and laying conduit
- Troubleshooting and issues that arise
- Executing maintenance agreements
- Ensuring electrical equipment installs meet or exceed code and manufacturer requirements
- Completing safety documentation
- Assisting with shop clean up and maintenance
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work site

**Salary**: From $38.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

**Experience**:
- Electrical: 4 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Electrician Licence (required)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
- H2S Alive (preferred)
- Class 5 Licence (required)
- Confined Space Certification (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- TDG Certification (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (preferred)
