**Job Details**

Posting Status: open, 1 position

Type: Permanent Full-Time

Pay Range: $70-80,000 annually

Closing Date: December 13, 2024 or until the position is filled

Work Hours: Swing shift

Days 7:00am to 3:30pm / Afternoons 3:20pm to 1:50am

**Responsibilities**
- Schedule shifts, coordinating machines and manpower to meet daily production schedules.
- Mentor and train production employees in press operations, including troubleshooting, setup reduction, and efficiency improvements.
- Manage the shift to stay within established budgets, including labor hours and efficiencies.
- Participate in recruiting, disciplining, training, and supervising production personnel.
- Handle plant lock-up and opening responsibilities for swing shifts.
- Participate in committees such as C.A.R, C.I, and JHSC.
- Coordinate training for all production employees and maintain training records and matrix adherence.
- Act as QA representative for applicable shifts, ensuring procedures are followed.
- Coordinate tool room personnel during shifts.
- Conduct daily communication meetings with production personnel.
- Enforce housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safe work practices.
- Validate and approve time cards.
- Develop and maintain a positive and effective work culture.
- Administer the collective agreement as outlined.

**Qualifications**
- Grade 12 education (post-secondary education is an asset).
- 5 years of supervisory experience.
- 5 years of experience in metal manufacturing.
- Experience with metal stamping and progressive tooling (preferred).
- Strong leadership and self-motivation.
- Excellent communication skills.
