Binnie has an exciting full-time opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our team. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Reporting to our Human Resources Manager, and as an integral member of our HR team, you will support and partner with assigned client groups. Every day is different, and you thrive in an environment which moves rapidly and provides new challenges. You will provide guidance and coaching on a wide variety of people matters, including talent management, employee relations, total rewards and other fundamental HR programs. You may also provide advisement on matters including immigration, employment laws and regulations.

**YOUR ROLE**:

- Act as the primary HR support/contact for one or more assigned divisions/departments
- Working collaboratively with managers and staff on a variety of people related activities. Providing counsel to managers and staff alike.
- Acting as a resource for questions and support regarding policy, process and practices.
- Working with Binnie’s managers to implement and coordinate corporate HR best practices, resulting in engaging employee experiences.
- As part of the HR team, reviewing and suggesting enhancements to Binnie’s HR programs which promote and sustain our reputation as a top employer.
- Reviewing a variety of HR data and external information to make recommendations and suggestions on appropriate changes to our HR programs
- Act as a professional resource to managers regarding hiring, compensation, learning and development, performance management, employee relations and other employment related matters
- Act as a point of contact for leave administration, providing guidance to both managers and employees when leaves are taken
- Assist in the communication, interpretation and upkeep of existing HR policies, and contribute to policy development as required
- Collectively with the HR team, support the annual performance and compensation review process

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- Strong desire to add value to the workplace by driving HR best practices and sharing innovative ideas which create an exceptional corporate culture
- A minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience at a Generalist level, in a high-volume, fast paced work environment. HR experience in a consulting/professional services environment is an asset.
- Degree focused in Human Resources Management, or relevant HR certification such as CPHR or SHRM-CP
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of Employment Standards, and other employment laws and regulations
- High degree of confidentiality and professionalism, critical thinking skills, and an ability to build strong working relationships across various disciplines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey new information in an easy-to-understand manner
- Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize. Recognition of the importance of attention to detail and quality results in all that we do.
