**Job Summary**

The Telecom Technician is responsible for installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of various types of telecommunications equipment.
Positions available in BC, AB, ON and NS.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Installing, testing and commissioning various types of equipment in the Telecom industry.(Includes, but not limited to DC power systems, M/W radio, 4G/5G Cellular system, and ancillary equipment)
- Develop technical skills and experience under guidance of senior staff, on site learning for the proper completion of projects
- Responsible for daily timesheet and daily work report
- Follow company safety guidelines

**Qualifications**
- High School graduate or equivalent, prefer to have college certificate or diploma in telecom, electronics or any related field
- 3 years of telecom industry experience, work experience with major carriers in Canada considered an asset
- Demonstrated investigative, problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, self-motivate
- Job related certifications are an asset, such as First Aid, WHIMS, Fall Protection, WHIMS, etc.
- **Must be eligible for work in Canada**
- **Must possess a valid driver's license**

**Working Conditions**
- Able to lift, carry, grip and handle up to 40lb load
- Carry out tasks in confined spaces, at heights and under diverse weather conditions including heavy rain and/or snowfall.
- Willing to travel to various locations, work weekends and overtime as needed.
- Interprets and works from CAD drawings, engineering specifications, construction packages and other drawings

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
