**Your role**

You will play a key role in deploying, configuring, commissioning, and supporting enterprise telephony solutions. As a member of our team, you will work directly with customers to ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of voice services across diverse environments.
- This role involves regional travel across Alberta, including on-site customer work._

**Key responsibilities**
- Deploy, configure, commission, and maintain customer telephony solutions (VoIP / PBX)
- Configure and support enterprise PBX systems, including moves/adds/changes and troubleshooting
- Perform functional testing, service validation, and technical follow-up with customers
- Provide day-to-day technical support to customers (remote and on-site)
- Participate in a structured on-call rotation and handle emergency support calls when required
- Perform on-site installations and maintenance, including network/telephony cabling as needed
- Support the sales team by answering technical questions and contributing to solution discussions
- Assist the team during commissioning and cutovers, as required
- Provide user training for specific projects, as required
- Maintain required certifications and complete assigned training

**Skills / Competencies**
- Strong experience with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OmniPCX Enterprise (or equivalent enterprise PBX experience, with willingness to certify).
- Excellent understanding of SIP and IP telephony concepts
- Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs/QoS basics (as applicable)
- Experience with public telephony connectivity: PRI, analog/1FL, SIP trunking
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
- Professional customer-facing communication skills

**General criteria**
- Completed Diploma - Telecommunications Technology (or other training / experience deemed equivalent)
- 5+ years of relevant experience in telephony / VoIP environments
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Functional French (nice to have)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility for working hours
- Valid driver's license
- Valid work permit in Canada
