This position involves a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy.Core Competency (Ideal Fit)Time ManagementDevelopment and Continual LearningProblem SolvingAccountability and DependabilityResearch and AnalysisDecision Making and JudgmentExcellent communication skillsResponsibilitiesMonitor all account credit limits and aging of receivables, communicate to the necessary parties when an account is over its limit.Perform collection procedures on all invoices over 30 days old. Identify problem accounts – make prompt decisions for collection (e.g., Collections, Construction Liens, Legal).Monitor volume of credit checks used online with credit reporting agency to maximize value, minimize costs.Identify and facilitate the resolution of all customer disputes on a timely basis, working with internal department/branch stakeholders when necessary.Support monthly customer account disputes meeting.Process credit card payments.Other duties and tasks as assigned.Requirements3-5 years' credit collections experience with strong negotiating and communication skills preferred.Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and understanding of computerized accounting systems.Written and verbal fluency in English.Strong problem‑solving skills with good organizational, time‑management and prioritizing skills.In the case of a power outage or declared State of Emergency by any level of Government in Ontario, be available for work.Experience working in an ERP system.Ability to attend and conduct presentations.Working ConditionsTravel may be required.Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.Overtime as required.Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required.BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.Employer RRSP matching program.Health & wellness spending accounts and Employee Assistance Program.Paid time off and statutory holidays.Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.Company vehicle for select roles and on‑site parking.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionStrategy/Planning and Information TechnologyIndustryMachinery ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Total Power Limited by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
