**DESCRIPTION**

Working within the mission, vision and values of Wing Kei, this position is accountable for the organization and delivery of food and supplies for meal service to residents. This includes providing a resident focused approach to food service delivery that is timely, safe, efficient, and cost effective.

**THE ROLE**

**Qualifications**:

- Completed High School education
- A Certified Food Handler or willing to gain certification within 60 days of commencing employment.
- Minimum 3 years of proven institutional Food Services experience.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of quantity food production, and knowledge of sanitation and safety standards for the Food Services area.

**THE INDIVIDIUAL WHO WILL SICCEED**
- Support Food Services Team Leader to lead the daily production activity and provide hands-on supervision for the Food Services team during his/her shift.
- Performs/supports all “Food Services Aide” duties whenever necessary.
- Trains Food Services Aides during orientation and daily operations.
- Participate in Food Services Quality Committee and Food Tasting Panel to make recommendations to improve the menu and other food services functions and activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
